Conference side Woking have confirmed the signings of striker Loick Pires and defender Jack Parkinson from Welling United.

22-year-old Pires signed for the Wings from Leyton Orient ahead of the 2010/11 season and went on to score 20 goals in 60 appearances for the club.

Parkinson had been linked with a deal with League One side Stevenage last summer, but joins up with his Wings colleague making the move to the Surrey side.

Both players will command some kind of fee with Welling and Woking set to negotiate a compensation package for the pair.

Meanwhile, there was some good news for Welling fans with defender Jack Obersteller agreeing a new one year deal at Park View Road on Friday afternoon with Lee Clarke signing a new deal on Saturday morning.
